Rapper Juelz Santana has become a father while behind bars.
The There It Go (The Whistle Song) MC, real name LaRon James, is currently serving a 27-month sentence in New Jersey for gun possession, so the 37 year old had to miss the arrival of his son Santana James, who was born on 3 July.
Juelz’s wife, Kimbella, debuted the couple’s third child in a post on Instagram last week, captioning the sweet snap, “Meet our new prince… Santana James… Blessed”.
Juelz and Kimbella wed in January (19), weeks after the hip-hop star was sentenced for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon onto an aircraft following a March, 2018 incident at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
They announced the news of Kimbella’s latest pregnancy on the reunion episode of their U.S. reality show Love and Hip Hop: New York, which was recorded before Juelz began his prison stint at the beginning of March, and aired days later.
Little Santana James joins the couple’s older children, son Juelz and daughter Bella, while the rapper is also father to son LaRon from a previous relationship.
